Come get your photo taken under one of the most stunning night skies in the Southwest while learning amazing facts and stories about the cos We will meet in Flagstaff at 8:00 pm for introductions and a team meeting before we drive out seperately to our site at about 8:15. It is about a 20-30 minute drive to our site, which is the nearest International Dark Sky Preserve to Flagstaff (which in an International Dark Sky City itself...the worlds first, in fact!). When we arrive to our site, I will setup my photography equipment and we will walk a short way from our vehicles into a field. While we wait for our eyes to adjust and the stars to really brighten up, we will discuss some stargazing basics, constellation mythology, and dark sky conservation challenges.
