Major Delays In Westborough With Truck Stuck Under Bridge

WESTBOROUGH, MA — It's happened again: for the third time in two weeks, a large truck has hit the East Main Street bridge in downtown Westborough. In Friday's incident, a semitrailer got wedged under the CSX railroad bridge, causing long delays in the downtown area. Westborough firefighters reported heavy delays in the area with only one lane open along Route 30. The Westborough rail bridge is about 12-1/2 feet high, about one foot short of the standard height of a semitrailer.
