New Moon In Aries Yin & Sound Healing Savasana Join me at Elevated Yogi on Saturday April 2nd at 4:30pm as we celebrate the energy of the New Moon in Aries with a special 90 min slow paced Yin yoga and sound healing practice that is aimed at gently clearing blocked energy and stimulating the free flow of our vital life force also known as prana throughout our bodies. During this session we will access the deeper connective tissues of the body by holding traditional yin poses for 3-5 minutes. As a result of holding postures for an extended period of amount of time and tapping into the deeper tissues of the body we will begin to increase circulation and flexibility, while also organically relaxing and calming down the nervous system. After our yin practice we will close with a beautiful sound healing savasana which will be facilitated using crystal singing bowls. *** Sound healing is a practice that is incredibly powerful in its ability to bring the body and mind into a state of complete relaxation. Sound healing has been used for thousands of years to heal ailments such as pain, anxiety and depression. For most, a sound healing session will initiate a state of relaxation, peace and balance. The purpose of this practice is to set our intentions, then allow the sound frequencies to clear areas of blocked or stagnant energy, while simultaneously relaxing down the nervous system. Suggested items for the most relaxing sound healing experience: 1. Eye cover/ Eye pillow 2. Pillows, Blankets, Bolsters for support/comfort 3. Journal & Pen 4. Your favorite crystals 5. Wear comfortable clothing This celebration of the new moon through mindful movement and sound will create an overall feeling of inner peace, relaxation and a heart center that is radiating light and the high vibrating frequencies of love.
