Personalize your garden with a Hands-on Clay Workshop! The special clay contains sand and grog which lets the fired tiles remain outdoors year-round. No clay experience needed! A short demonstration showing materials, tools, and techniques will get you started. Roll the clay out like cookie dough and away you go. Decorate the surface with stamping, sgraffito (scratching clay) and appliqué (applied shapes). Designed for persons 17+. Classes are kept small allowing for individualized attention. Gather 3 friends to join the workshop and you get the workshop fee for free! Workshop tuition fee is $36 plus a Materials fee of $25/$35 for the special red earthenware with “grit” that will age beautifully.
