MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown and state agencies seek the public's help in the search for a man last seen more than 20 years ago. James Garfield Broome was last sighted in Morristown in 2001, according to New Jersey State Police. He also previously lived in Jersey City, authorities said. State Police posted an age-progression photo (see above) of Broome, who is now 66. Authorities described him as a Black man with brown eyes, who stands 5 feet, 6 inches. Patch asked State Police for more details about the missing-persons case, but a spokesperson deferred to Morristown law enforcement. Patch reached out to the Morristown Department of Public Safety and will update with any response. Anyone with information can contact Morristown Police Det. Theodore Jones at 973-538-2200 or State Police Det. Nikollaq Moni at 609-882-2000 ext. 2554. Anonymous tips are welcome. Thanks for reading. Have a news tip? Email [email protected].
