BEL AIR, MD — The seal for the town of Bel Air mysteriously disappeared from its marquee sign this week.
"As I understand it, after years of exposure to the elements, the bolts/fasteners securing the logo rusted through and could no longer hold it," Town Administrator Jesse Bane told Bel Air Patch.
On Wednesday morning, the piece of wood containing the town crest and logo were missing from one side of the marquee sign along Hickory Avenue.

The town "will most likely replace the pair once construction is completed," Kline said in a statement to Patch.
