High: 85 Low: 58. Here are the top five stories in Irving today: An Arlington doctor was sentenced to 12 years for running a "pill mill" for over five years, the DA announced Friday. Clinton Battle, 69, was convicted in July 2021 of providing prescription drugs, such as oxycodone, to family members and friends without a medical examination. Battle often provided the service in exchange for cocaine. (WFAA.com) The parents of the 25-year-old who fell off the roof at a local bar and subsequently died are speaking out. Chris Hill's mother and father say his fall from the third-floor balcony at 77 Degrees on March 12 was caused by negligence on the part of the establishment.
