Domestic battery
Ryan Smith, 28, of La Grange, was arrested about 10 a.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Plainfield Road on a charge of domestic battery. Fleeing
Eric Hernandez, 28, of Chicago, was arrested about 1 a.m. March 12 in the 300 block of Burlington Avenue on charges of fleeing and attempting to elude police, disobeying traffic devices and improper lane usage. A police officer tried to stop Hernandez, but he committed several traffic offenses as he fled, according to a report. Stolen car
A car that was running with the keys inside was stolen about 4:30 a.m. Monday at 7-Eleven, 6 E. 47th St. The car was later found and returned to its owner. Restaurant argument
A person got into an argument with staff about 10:30 p.m. March 19 at Palmer Place restaurant, 56 S. La Grange Road. Police issued the person a no-trespass warning. Check fraud
A resident in the 700 block of South Ashland Avenue told police that the resident's check was cashed for $800 without authority. Driving violations
Walter Velazquez-Castellano, 42, of Cicero, was cited about 8 p.m. March 13 at Ogden and Blanchan avenues on charges of driving with a suspended license, driving without lights when required and improper lane usage. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and people charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
