Description
PAWTUCKET, RI — Tickets are now on sale for the Pawtucket Red Sox's last season in Rhode Island before relocating to Worcester, Massachusetts. 2020 marks the team's golden anniversary at McCoy Stadium.
The team will kick off its 50th and final season in Rhode Island at 5:05 p.m. on April 9 against the Syracuse Mets.
As is now tradition, the team will hold fireworks shows at the stadium at every Saturday home game as well as on July 2 and 3, ahead of Independence Day.
"Throughout the 2020 season we will celebrate all that is good about PawSox Baseball…from historic events and legendary players to memorable promotional nights and our iconic fireworks shows," PawSox Vice-Chairman Mike Tamburro said. "And at the same time, we promise to help as many charitable organizations as possible."
Along with the fireworks, the team will offer special giveaways and promotions during every home game this season.
For the sixth year in a row, ticket prices will remain the same: $14 for green "field box" seats, $13 for red "reserved box" seats and $9 for general admission, with $6 general admission tickets available to kids under 12, military members, seniors and veterans. Tickets purchased day-of cost $2 more than those bought in advance.
Tickets are available on the team's website, along with more information on the "Thank You McCoy" campaign.
