Fleet Mechanic for Sweeper Trucks Looking for mechanic to work for a small company, that has very consistent hours and overtime in the summer months. This position will be in charge of maintenance and up keep of a fleet of street sweepers, dump trucks and water trucks. Experience in diagnosing and fixing Sweep Trucks. Experience in diagnosing and fixing Trackless sidewalk equipment. Diesel mechanic experience is preferred. Must pass pre-employment drug test. Must be dependable, punctual and have strong work ethic Solid understanding of scheduling, resource allocation, equipment capabilities, and cost management. A valid drivers license. Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and fix hydraulic systems. Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and fix of electronic systems. Knowledge of computer maintenance programs. Knowledge of parts ordering and shop organization. Must have own tools, specialty tools will be provided. Able to lift 50 lbs Ability to work under pressure and stressful situations. Strong communication and service skills Team-oriented and able to maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, owners, community members.
