Description
Christmas is likely to look different this year as millions of Americans opt to stay home, marking the holiday with smaller celebrations amid the coronavirus pandemic. In Rhode Island, social gatherings are still limited to single households, and Gov. Gina Raimondo asked all residents to stay home and avoid large family gatherings.
Smaller celebrations, however, don't necessarily mean we'll bypass holiday traditions. And when it comes to Christmas dinner, a pandemic is certainly unlikely to stop us from forgetting that one key ingredient needed to make a perfect holiday meal.
Few Rhode Island grocery stores will be open on Christmas, so consider double-checking the fridge the day before to make sure you have everything you need.
