Hello! My names jessica and I am currently going to school to get my associates to be a Teacher and hopefully will be opening my own child care center in the future!! However for now, I’d like to start out, while in school, small with maybe one or two kiddos. I have three of my own, so the max I could take on starting in June would be 2 more ages 3-12yrs old. I was working at the hospital as a CNA which I’ve done for over 12 years so taking care of people of all ages is my specialty. My passion really lies with children, and teaching, especially about God. I’m faith based, so if your okay with that we do a lot of fun activities and learn about Jesus! Not just running around doing their own thing all day, I will not only provide them with faith based learning but also reading and writing and all that jazz, age appropriate skills will be taught as well in a more structured environment but I will also provide them breakfast and snacks and lunch as well! I plan on having field trips, as long as that’s permitted as well I’d like the kids to do fun summer activities and doing different things in the community to teach about being kind and helping others! It’s always so much fun to serve! I have a schedule and new childrens packets with forms and a child care handbook for parents so everything will feel like your kids are going to a child care center the only difference is it will be in my home for now. So if your in need of child care and think this is a good fit for your kiddo this summer and do not just want your child stuck in someone’s house or a stuffy building all day I am the best place to try! I am 35 years old and also currently certified in BLS which is basic life saving skills similar to cpr but better! I have a big fenced in back yard that is at the end of a dead end road so it’s close to town but still private, with plenty of room for the kids to have lots of summer fun outside enjoying the weather ! We will be planting and feeding birds and doing lots of fun things! I have a swing and have yard toys and a kids pool for hot days and have a whole routine and curriculum I’d like to implement with the kids so they are learning for their age group as well as having fun! my children are 4 years and 7 years and a 15 year old that dose her own thing but will be helping out with different things. I have so much more I could write but I’d rather see if anyone is in need of any child care starting in June who would like to discuss this further please email or text or call me!!! again I am jessica and can’t wait to hear from you! My rates are similar to any child care in the area, depending on the ages and hrs needed I am definitely open to being flexible as I am not sure what hrs and days and such are a good fit for me just yet, I am trying to use this opportunity as a great way of testing the waters and gain more knowledge on how I want to do everything! unlike most child care providers who do not offer child care on weekend days I would be open to trying that and see if could work for everyone, I am just starting out on a venture that will definitely be flourishing into a full fledged business in the future, I plan on getting licensed thru the state, I am not sure when I’ll be doing this but I do not need to unless I was taking on more then two kiddos so I might hold off till the end of the summer when I have more time. I will be doing this in my home until I can test out everything and get my feet wet but absolutely will be looking into spaces in the near future that could be a great fit for my vision.
