Description

Large Male Chameleon I will not re-home him to someone without chameleon experience for his health safety Friendly I'm building a house in another city. I wont have time for him anymore. Included in his rehoming: Chameleon Calcium Calcium with D Reptivite (multi vitamin powder) Natural deworming powder (if you like to catch him wild food *grasshoppers from time to time.) Superworms and his water syringe *Since he was small he has only drank water by hand from a syringe and refuses to drink adequately from a dripper, dish or reptile watering fountain. It's his quirk, he's a spoiled brat. He drinks 5.0ml 2 -4 x a day. I offer it to him morning and night and his water intake will increase with age. He is not yet full grown even though he's huge and looks like it. He gets his calcium once a week and his calcium with D separately also once a week on a different day. He gets his reptivite multi once every two weeks. Giving too much calcium/vitamins can make chameleons terribly constipated and or urate bound. If you find your Chameleon not expelling white urate with stools then you are giving too much calcium and will need to dilute drinking water with one drop of apple cider vinegar. This has only happened to him once and the one drop of acv worked like a charm by the next morning. Giving too little calcium and vitamins will cause metabolic bone disease. It is a delicate balance between too much calcium and too little. I list his specifics so you know what that perfect balance is for him. Please know humidity requirements You must have adequate lighting uva and uvb lighting for him as well as his tank and humidity. I shut his uvb light off at dusk and his uva off about 9pm. He does not have a light on overnight or a heat bulb. He does fine and goes to bed as soon as his lights are off. He is EXTREMELY friendly for a chameleon. You can kiss his face. Pick him up. He does not hiss or bite. He loves to be fed by hand but not a must. He likes to hang out on window blinds and look outside from time to time. I take him to the park and he has a favorite tree. He likes to go on walks with you and will hang out of your shirt, shoulder or on your head. He had been tamed since young. Again, I will only re-home to someone with chameleon experience for his sake. His favorite food is wax worms. He also eats hornworms, superworms and wild grasshoppers, butterflies, months, dragonflies etc. Some examples of his diet for the day will be 10-12 superworms one day (gutloaded) Or half a tub of wax worms, Or 8-10 grasshoppers Or 2 giant hornworms one in morning and one at night He likes chives, green grape slices, sweet peppers. Rehoming $200 firm He does not come with his tank or lighting.
