Prospective candidates will show an understanding of the basic principles of dignity and respect for all people, while promoting the work of PCL concerning social justice for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities. See our video: PCL’s Quality Department has one opening for a Quality Facilitator to work with people with co-occurring I/DD/Mental Health diagnoses primarily in Polk and Marion Counties, with occasional travel to outlying locations in Yamhill, Lane, Josephine, and Jackson Counties. This position will provide assistance to all team members to connect decision-making and documentation relating to the people we support services/needs to OARs and PCL’s policies and procedures. They must be skilled in being self-directed, highly motivated, Therap, OARs and PCL policies and procedures. Essential Functions, Skills and Abilities: ❖ Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to schedule and coordinator multiple projects ❖ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to have difficult conversations in a professional manner ❖ High level of problem solving skills ❖ Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality ❖ Ability to work independently and as a team player ❖ Ability to read and understand complex compliance laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines ❖ Complete deliverables in established timeframes while maintaining flexibility ❖ High level of proficiency in the use of Therap and knowledge of Oregon’s ISP process and support documents COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Full time/salaried non exempt position, starting at $3,000, DOE. Retirement, PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision and Life for full time employees. All offers of employment are contingent upon a candidate’s successful completion of PCL’s pre-employment drug testing, and background investigation, which includes employment, education and criminal histories. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Conducting Quality Assessments and provide technical assistance in preparation for state licensure Completing reports in a timely manner Assisting teams to provide quality environments and supports Create an environment for learning Train various subjects as assigned in both small and large groups Preference given to Applicants with the following: Knowledge of the Oregon Administrative Rules for Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) services Knowledge and experience of the Oregon I/DD system Experience using Therap data based system Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old Dependable and reliable work attendance Possess a valid ODL with an acceptable driving record (min of 6 months driving experience) Pass a State/Federal criminal history check (fingerprints may be required) Pass pre-employment drug screening Pass a pre-employment computer skills assessment To apply visit: Position Closes: April 1st at 12pm Interviews for qualified candidates will be the afternoon of April 6th PCL is an Equal Opportunity and Drug Free Employer that greatly values our employees!
