TOPS Staffing has a unique opportunity with a client working on a project in Midland PA. We are searching for several light duty laborers to work with our client over the next 6 months. This position will allow candidates to create their own schedule, work as many or as little days as you choose each week. Only requirement for this position is the ability to lift up to 25lbs repetitively and be on their feet for an 8 hour shift, candidates will need to have their own safety shoes, all other PPE will be provided on site. There is a possibility of being converted to a fulltime employee of our client and joining their team on a fulltime basis, ask your recruiter for more details on this. Job Details: Contract Work schedule: Build your own schedule, Work as little as 1 day or up to 5 days per week, entirely up to you. Hours: 8am to 4pm Starting pay rate: $17 per hour Job Description: In this position you will be responsible for taking boxes weighing around 25lbs off of a pallet, using a razor knife to open the box, then unpackage the electrical/ electronic device inside of box then pass this device down a line of employee until it will eventually be placed on a shelf inside of a storage container. Each pallet will consist of 25 to 30 individual boxes. This process will repeated until all devices are in their specified locations. Only requirement for this positions is the ability to lift 25lbs on a regular basis. Physical Requirements and PPE needed Must pass a pre-employment drug screening Ability to lift 25lbs on repetitive basis Must have your own safety shoes or boots, all other PPE will be provided onsite.
