Beware using workers, NOT covered by insurance

Beware of using workers that are NOT covered by Insurance! Ask to see a policy showing all the workers that will be working on your project, including the owner. Most will tell you that everyone is covered. DO NOT TAKE THEIR WORD! I been helping my Dad to get some work done on his house. After inviting 3 companies to give me quotes. In my request, I ask for proof of insurance coverage. All three had different answers. It is Spring and a lot of companies are hiring part time help. They are not full time employees and are on call to help on a job. Most will show up to give you a quote and maybe a contract. Check carefully for a statement about there coverage. Ask for all, in writing. A legit person / company, there will be a insurance statement in the contract! Good Luck!
