SAN CLEMENTE, CA — A family of four was safe after a fire burned their San Clemente home Saturday. Firefighters learned of the blaze in the 1200 block of Vista Cayenta at 9:13 p.m., according to Orange County Fire Authority spokesperson Capt. Greg Barta. Crews found a heavily involved garage fire threatening the adjacent home, he said. Firefighters began an "aggressive" fire attack while searching the home for potential victims. UPDATE: Fire knocked down @ approximately 21:50. Crews conducting overhaul operations. 2 adults & 2 children displaced. "This is just a good reminder for everyone to have working smoke alarms in their home." Two adults and two children were displaced by the blaze, he said.
