SAN CLEMENTE, CA —The Orange County Sheriff's Department Friday sought the public's help in identifying a man who allegedly pointed a handgun at a 10-year-old boy in San Clemente. The department released a sketch of the suspect on their Twitter page. Additional witnesses said a man in the area matching the description was exhibiting strange behavior prior to the incident. When the child turned around, the suspect allegedly pointed a gun at the boy and chased him for a short distance. Witnesses said a man was in the area matching the suspect description, who was exhibiting strange behavior prior to the assault. The suspect was described as a Latino man between 30 and 40 years old, about 5 feet 9-inches tall, with a mustache and spiky hair. He was last seen wearing baggy shorts and a washed-out dark-colored shirt.
