We are looking for a professional, skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Mount Holly community consisting of 328; 1-3 bedroom apartment homes. Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm Job responsibilities will be, but not limited to: • Apartment turns regularly • Plumbing: includes the repair, replacement or installation of faucets, pipes, toilets • Electrical: included the repair, replacement or installation of power switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling fans, light fixtures, etc. • Drywall repair, includes filling in small holes to repairing damage walls. • Painting: includes painting of entire units, minor touch-ups following damage repair • Appliance repair: includes the repair, replacement or installation of major household appliances, such as refrigerators, range ovens, dishwashers, microwave, and air conditioners. • Daily ground keeping: includes parking area and tidying up community on a daily basis – includes interior/exterior of clubhouse, fitness center and pool area. Also cleaning of trash enclosure areas, pet waste stations and dog park. • Cleaning/Housekeeping: includes maintaining a tide appearance; such as cleaning kitchen, appliances, countertop, bathroom/s, and fixtures before new renters assume occupancy. • Manual Labor: May require heavy lifting such as appliances, bulk trash, furniture, etc. • Snow removal; may include shoveling snow away from covered walkways and laying down rock salt atop icy surfaces to prevent slipping. Overtime may be required during snow storms. • Customer service: includes professional, prompt and courteous correspondence with renters when providing maintenance services, and with contracted vendors that provide additional facility services. • Time management: includes maintaining an organized scheduling and to effectively complete all maintenance requests in a timely manner and in the order by which they were received or by level of urgency as decided by Maintenance Supervisor. • On-Call emergency maintenance is mandatory (one week at a time rotation between 3 Maintenance Staff members) • Electrical and/or plumbing certifications a plus • Apartment property maintenance experience/background preferred -Must have a valid drivers license. -3+ years of Apartment maintenance experience preferred* -Experience with Class A or B properties preferred*
