Deadline Looms For Fixing Mail Ballot Issues In Rhode Island

CRANSTON, RI — Rhode Island voters have until Tuesday afternoon to fix any issues with their general election mail ballot, known as "curing" the ballot. Voters whose ballot was rejected received a notice that must be returned with a notarized signature, or two witnesses. The form can be printed at the Board of Elections office at 2000 Plainfield Pike in Cranston, where an employee will notarize it. All ballots must be cured by 4 p.m. on Tuesday to be counted. Completed ballots can be dropped into the drop box located at the facility.
