Bass player looking for songwriting collaboration

I'm a poet who happens to also play bass guitar. I am looking for a singer/songwriter -- preferably who plays acoustic guitar -- for writing songs. On bass: I mostly play with a pick and stick with the kick. I thump out 8ths and I can play counter melody as well. On lyrics: I write about environmentalism, the apocalypse, wilderness, and dystopia. But I can write about most anything, even fun stuff. I'm 42M and very liberal. Ideally I'd like to play farmers' markets or coffee houses, open mics and such. Recording could also be an option. I am single, no kids, and I work regular business hours. So I have time and resources to put into this. With that said, this is just for fun and personal fulfillment. P.S. I'd also be open to joining or forming a band under the right circumstances.
