RUG ASSEMBLER NEEDED FOR A GROWING BUSINESS Do you like working with your hands? Do you like being busy? Do you enjoy physical labor rather than sitting at a desk all day? Can you read a tape measure accurately? If so, our company has a position for you. Carpet One By Henry is a family-owned business, based in Greensboro that is growing exponentially. We are looking for a someone to help our rug making department assemble custom made rugs. This is an entry level position that could develop into a long-term trade. Making custom rugs is an art with a stable income and lots of growth opportunities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Not all inclusive) • Cut carpet pad to go underneath rugs • Cut and square up carpets to be made into custom area rugs • Learn to bind & serge carpet edges • Learn to install carpet runners REQUIREMENTS: • General mechanical and mathematical aptitude • Prior experience with small electrical equipment • General knowledge of reading a tape measure accurately • General knowledge of carpet • General knowledge of warehouse procedures • Ability to move or lift up to 100 lbs. (wood skid or pallet, company equipment and products) BENEFITS: • Work Monday-Friday (40hrs) may require some overtime as needed. • Tools provided by Carpet One By Henry • Paid vacation and holidays • Medical, dental, vision, life insurance and coverage available after 90 days. • 401(k) Plan with company match after one year of continued service
