Description
Nala is a Purebred Great Pyrenees. About 13 months old. My wife and I bought her in the hopes we were moving to a place with a few acres for her to roam. That fell through and we can’t keep our girl cooped up in a tiny yard anymore with 2 other dogs.
She got bit on the face by a rattlesnake when she was about 3 months old. Handled it like a champ. We took her to the vet for treatment and just has a little scar to show for it. She made a FULL recovery. And is now snake trained to avoid rattlesnakes. She has all her shots, microchip, and spayed. She is about 96 pounds during our last vet visit. So she’s a big girl but jumps into my lifted pickup no problem.
She is a guardian dog for farms and she loves people. She gets along pretty well with our other dogs but she likes to be the boss. She loves to be outside we only bring her in to sleep. Summers don’t bother her she’ll just find a shady spot and hang out but definitely likes the cold weather. We keep her brushed regularly and use an under coat rake to help her thin out her hair in the summer as well she loves to play in her pool we have outside during the summer.
We have trained her as much as possible with this breed. Sit, lay down, shake she does pretty well. Very stubborn breed to say the least. Also handles a leash pretty well. Only occasional pulling when she is distracted.
We are looking for a re-homing fee of $500 but open to anything really. As you might be able to tell we don’t want to get rid of her. We just want her to go to a home with more space! Where she can do what she does best. Roam around and watch. Please contact me at (nine28) 67one-11two2…. Text or call.
Please know about this breed do your research beforehand.
