We are a local repossession company and have an opening for a qualified tow truck driver to assist in recovering vehicles out for repossession. This driver must have a clean driving record. All applicants are subject to pre-employment drug screening. Experience is a must. DESCRIPTION: -Check over tow truck daily to ensure truck is in working order and you have all proper equipment to repossess vehicles. -Fuel truck up using the trucks provided quarrels card and personal pin. -Log on to Recovery Database Network (RDN) as well as Blackline GPS tracking system. -Check View HOT Orders by expiration tab in RDN to see if there are any vehicles that are still out in the field that have been located by an RI. -Check the office notes tab on the order to receive the information the RI provides when a vehicle is located. -Print out Repossession orders. -Drive to location of the vehicle either by information given by RI or by utilizing Blackline. -Log-on to client provided GPS per instructions on order and locate and recover vehicles as they come in. -Repossess vehicle once the unit is found and you have a valid repossession order in hand containing vehicle identification number (VIN) and vehicle information including the debtors’ info as well as the Bank/Client information. -Check the last six of the VIN number referencing the repo order before pulling away with unit. -Check if vehicle is front wheel drive (FWD), Rear wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). If vehicle determined to be AWD the dollies must be used. -Report repossession to local police department. Philadelphia County you report to the police district you recovered the vehicle in. -When reporting a repossession in Philadelphia County you must fill out a Philadelphia police report (48) and provide the 48, the repossession order as well as your credentials to the district. -Tow unit back to IRS yard once collateral was reported to the police. -Remove Blackline GPS device that was placed on the vehicle by the RI. Qualifications of our ideal candidate are: -Minimum 2 years experience operating a wrecker -Flatbed/rollback experience is a plus -Clean driving record -Proficient with laptops -Ability to properly read a VIN If you're interested, respond with a copy of your updated resume.
