Mandolin is looking for a hard-working self-starter to manage and operate a well-established restaurant farm. Candidates should have strong horticultural/agricultural back rounds and be capable of handling all of the duties and requirements of operating a small farm. These duties include (but are not limited to) seasonal planning, planting crops, germinating seeds, installing irrigation, operating a hydroponic greenhouse (lettuces), caring for goats and chickens, harvesting crops, mulching, composting, fertilizing/amending soil, general maintenance, cleaning, mowing grass, and delivering produce to the restaurant. All applicants must be able to handle the physical nature of the work including heavy lifting, prolonged bending and kneeling, and working in the heat of the summer. This is a tremendous opportunity for and ambitious individual looking for autonomy and the chance to work in a beautiful outdoor setting, growing food for one of the top restaurants in the area.
