We are an ISO 9001-2015 certified shop, well tooled, and family owned. We are big enough to get the job done, but small enough that we care about every employee and customer. We currently have around 15 full time and part time employees. Whether you're an experienced machinist or not, we could use a few more hands around the shop. Part time, full time, we are flexible. No night shift here. No major production work. Our average job size is 107 pieces. Duties and Responsibilities -Loading and unloading of machines as instructed. -In-process part inspection using gages, such as micrometers, calipers, indicators & bore gages. -Computer logging of your time and activities. -Maintain record of setups and programs for future use. -Routine maintenance of machines and related tooling. Job Requirements -Detail oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy within a timely matter. -Analytical & problem solving skills. High level of mechanical ability. -Able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run. -Read & interpret blueprints, setup sheets, job orders, and related technical data for product specifications. + Beneficial Job History + Experience + +CNC machining experience, operating or setting up. +Set-up conventional lathes, mills, and surface grinders. +Proficiency with G & M codes, tool offsets, speed and feed editing. +Interpreting basic blueprints. +A working understanding of GD&T principles. +Experience cutting ferrous and nonferrous metals, 1018, 4140, 6061, 303SS. +Knowledge of any CNC control, conversational or G-code +Owning a machinist tool box, including micrometers, indicators and calipers.
