I don't find Lindsay Graham to be as offensive. As I do pitiable. At one time. He openly condemned the monster that mitch mcConnell. Shoved down all of thier throats. And the actions of His party. But He (along with many in His party.) Is now trapped. There's no way He or they can get free. In for a penny. In for a pound. They have done so much damage to their party and it's image. They have no choice but to double down. On any piece of garbage. They can find. That coupled with His desperation. To keep His job. To keep safe To promote His core beliefs. And not see many of his party go to jail. Or be hanged for their part in the insurrection. (Other then to buy time till the next election. The reason they've all pleaded the fith.) Has driven Him to to what we see Him as now. He was just not strong enough to stand up. And has like many in His party. Simply caved under the Belief. That the ends justify the means Sadly there's a lot of that going around in both parties. So while we do find His Behavior cowardly and reprehensible. Other then to stand up And then loose everything and in so doing. Not being able to help anybody even himself. He and many of the republican party. Are destroyed and shamed now. In History. At one time. The dems were a different party. Arguing for many of the things. The rep party now argue for. This caused them to be on the wrong side of history. (Voting against freeing the slaves ect.) We still know all of these men's names. They were treated like second class people in washinton. And so were their states. Some of those states have never recovered to this day. And now it's going to happen to them again no matter who wins. I feel badly for anyone. That is so desperate in their fight. They're reduced to cheating and throwing poop. They feel if they can just win. They'll fix everything afterwards. No. If history has shown us anything. It will cause a stink. Our grandchildren will still be trying to get off. And will effect our strength. In the world. It's an easy thing to look up. Everytime a party in a democracy. Has argued for the same things the rep party now argue for. And won. It was not long before the democracy failed. And their version of the marmalade deity. Took over. Then shortly after. The whole thing. Fell. (And in the process many died.) Yet time and time again in history. They think this time it will work. It's the only way. You have to feel sorry for them. And those who have to live through it. So Lindsey Grahams probably not really an asshole. He just plays one on tv.
