A growing property management firm with about 20 properties is searching for a skilled and reliable general handy man to join our team. You will be responsible for basic upkeep and minor repair duties including installations, spackle, painting, caulking, deep cleaning, assessing the units etc. This is a general overview of what needs to be done, other tasks will arise. All within reason, as we outsource large jobs. We provide all materials needed but you must have a valid driver's license and reliable car to get to the properties. Most of our units are in Newark, NJ. Right now we are only looking for two days a week, with the possibility to be three days in the future depending on the work load. Higher compensation is available for those with specialty certifications. We would like you to be bilingual but it is not necessary. If you are good at what you do, do not let that discourage you from applying.
