Description
2 Building Co-Op in Midwood, Brooklyn with a Total of 168 apartments. This is not a live-in position. You must be able to assist the superintendent in all building repairs and maintenance, including electrical work, plumbing, plastering and light painting. (ex. changing of a light switch, change faucets, snake water lines, etc). If you have no electrical or plumbing experience please do not apply. You will be required to assist Porters when necessary including waxing and buffing floors, use of a snow blower, power washer and use of everyday tools necessary to make repairs. This would also include doing garbage, sweeping and mopping if the Porter is out. Only those with skills listed above should apply. Resume A Must. Must have 2 or more years experience and must submit to a background/credit check. This is a Union position after a 30 day probation period. Salary cannot be negotiated.
