Come work for us! We are a family-owned e-commerce business in Brooklyn looking for an enthusiastic part-time picker/packer to join our small warehouse. Your primary job will be to pick products from the shelves, pack them carefully and accurately, and ship them out via UPS and other carriers. In addition, you would be helping manage our supplies as well as receiving new inventory and restocking the warehouse shelves. Qualities that would make you a great fit: you are super responsible and reliable, you care about the work you do, you like to take initiative, and you sincerely want to learn and grow in the position. Prior warehouse experience is not required as we will train the right candidate. But if you have experience with pallet jacks and/or driving forklifts, that’s a definite plus. Ideally you are comfortable working with computers and using Excel, Word and Outlook. Expected schedule to start is approximately 15 to 20 hours per week, depending on our orders. We seek someone who is looking to take on more hours and responsibility as they learn the ropes. If you are a good fit, you would be fully trained to step into the larger role of warehouse manager, which ranges from 25 to 35 hours per week. Pay is hourly and commensurate with experience. Requirements: *You should be able to lift 70 pounds. *You must be available Mon-Fri between 10 am and 4 pm. Work schedule and number of hours is flexible. *You need to have a good work ethic.
