Section 202 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 (CAA) requires that agent, broker and consultant compensation related to all group health plans and individual health insurance policies be disclosed for arrangements entered into, renewed or extended on or after December 27, 2021. Join us for a discussion of the rules, process and available tools to stay in compliance with the legislation. About the presenter:Barb Gerken, Vice President and Director of Employee Benefit Compliance at First Insurance Group With 34 years in the group health insurance market, Barb Gerken is the Vice President | Director of Employee Benefit Compliance for First Insurance Group. Barb is responsible for agency and client compliance with state and federal regulations affecting employee benefit programs.  She also serves as the operations and staff manager for the agency employee benefits division. She currently serves as Legislative Chair of the Ohio Association of Health Underwriters, and member of the NAHU Compliance Corner working group.
