DCR state parks invite you to give a day and make a difference for our parks and planet! Help DCR and the Friends of Massachusetts Park Ranger Mounted Unit get your state park ready for the busy spring and summer season! ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: Standard leaf and litter removal, planting, mulching, pruning, light maintenance or repair, and painting fences or furninshing. Suitable for ages 13 and up. Meet at the Stable. There is parking across the street or at 840 Hillside St Horses and hay, (poison ivy) is/will be present. Allergy alert and mounted unit disclaimer form in addition to agency volunteer release form is signed for those present. NO DOGS/PETS/BIKES/CARS allowed on site! Please bring your own reusable water bottle; water will be available, but there will be no plastic water bottles. Please sign and bring a Volunteer Release form (for adults or for minors) with you! There will be a limited supply of forms available at the event.
