Claudia and Ted from Pastificio have invited up to 20 MENV students to visit their headquarters for a tour and information session.
This year Pastificio won Good Food awards for their Casarecce and their Fusilli. In 2021 Pastificio was awarded, "Best New Mission-Based Product" at Expo West. This is what they had to say about the company: "Pastificio Boulder is at the forefront of the grain revival—a surge of farmers, educators, millers, manufacturers and let’s not forget the consumer—intent on transforming commodity grain chains into community grain networks. Pastificio does it all by sourcing organic heritage and ancient wheats and grains from biodynamically and regeneratively committed farms; milling and manufacturing grains into pasta; and educating communities near and far on the benefits of community over commodity". Regarding packaging, Claudia explains, "Our packaging is 100% recyclable, made out of sustainable, unbleached, FSC certified kraft paper, and printed with natural inks. Even the little transparent seal is biodegradable".
