NYC based blues rock cover band seeking skilled piano/organ player. Lineup includes female lead vocals, guitar, bass/backing vocals, and drums/backing vocals. Walk in situation. Our set list is a mix of classic rock, blues rock, blues, r&b/soul, an original song or two. Seeking a person that dovetails with that mix, and wants to build with us long term. We are hardworking, collaborative musicians with lots of gig experience in successful cover bands, looking to find someone friendly to make good music with and play out for fun, occasionally make some $ to cover expenses. All current members have busy professional and family obligations outside of music, so don’t expect to go on tour. Open to any age or gender as long as you are mature, passionate and goal oriented about making good music and can communicate/collaborate/create. Roughly 10-12 gigs per year mostly Manhattan and Brooklyn, schedules permitting, and a manageable commitment of one 2 hour rehearsal per week. Please be down to make music in the studio weekly because that’s what you love doing. We share the cost of rehearsal space in Midtown on either Wed. or Thurs. evenings at 7-9pm so availability would be required for one of those nights. Please reply by text for video and songlist.
