Discover a new favorite when you sample wines from nine New Jersey wineries, enjoy live music, vendors and food.
Corliss Recreation Area will host the Wine in the Pines Waretown festival May 14 and 15. Dozens of fine wines from some of New Jersey's leading wineries will be available for sampling, along with vendors and food. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs to sit and enjoy live music Saturday from The Ned Ryerson Band; on Sunday Acoustic NRG will perform. Under 21 years of age and designated drivers are free. Free parking will be available along Route 522, public safety officer will be on hand to help people cross the street. Although the festival is rain or shine, in the event of extreme weather a cancelation decision will be made the evening prior and posted on the Wine in the Pines Waretown Facebook page. Wine in the Pines Waretown is sponsored by WJRZ 100.1 and sister station WRAT 95.9.
Participating wineries include Chestnut Run Farm, Cream Ridge Winery, DiMatteo Winery, Monroeville Vineyard & Winery, Plagido’s Winery, Salem Oak Vineyards, Wagonhouse Winery, White Horse Winery, and Villari Vineyards. Each paid admission includes a commemorative wine glass to use for the tasting; guests can purchase favorite wines by the bottle or case during the event.
