Description
It pains my heart to be writing this post. I have a female cat named Ember. She is 6 years old and completely loving and adorable. I've had her for 4 years and she is my fur-baby. She was an indoor/outdoor cat for the past 4 years, until I moved into my recent apartment that doesn't allow animals to go outside. She just isn't happy anymore. She loves going outside and I can tell she is depressed. I feed her a vet-recommended diet and she is very healthy. She is a love bug, but just wants to be on a farm, I think, to catch rats and mice. She would always bring me dead animals when she was indoor/outdoor. She is all up to date on her vaccines, as I take pristine care of her. I even tried to get her a kitten friend who I just adopted to try and help, but she is just still obsessed with wanting to go outside. I feel so bad. I live in a one bedroom apartment, and want her to go to a farm where she can be the natural hunter she is.
I am willing to sell her for $100, as that is what I bought her for. Or, we can talk about pricing. I just want her to be happy and that doesn't come at a cost to me.
I will have to vet you and your environment before I surrender her to you. I cannot stand animal abuse and I want to ensure I'm giving her to a reputable, responsible owner who will let her go outside all the time whenever she wants. That's why I'm thinking a farm where she can be indoor/outdoor and hunt. I will not rehome her if she is just going to stay inside again, so I will be vetting your location.
Please let me know. I just want her to be happy and my heart hurts.
Thank you.
