The purpose of the Sound Doctrine Conference is to equip the local church with sound doctrine in accordance with the gospel. To claim that truth is relative is an open attack on the church. We know this because the church is a pillar and buttress of truth. To attack truth is to attack the church. But what does it mean to be a pillar and buttress of truth? What does this mean for the church and what does this mean for the Christian? At this year’s Sound Doctrine Conference, we will be dealing with these very questions. Join together with other believers to thoughtfully consider the weight and glory of the precious truth of who the church is. “I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that, if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.” 1 Timothy 3:14-15 – ESV
