Miriam Adeney, PhD is a professor of anthropology at Seattle Pacific University and widely involved with several missionary organizations. She serves on the board of Christianity Today International, a mission associate of the World Evangelical Alliance Mission Commission, and past president of the American Society of Missiology. She regularly lectures and trains people in many countries spanning all five continents. She has authored more than 150 articles or book chapters as well as six books including Refugee Diaspora (William Carey 2018), Kingdom without Borders (IVP 2009) and Daughters of Islam (IVP 2002).
