The Press of Atlantic City honors South Jersey Nurses From fighting on the front lines in the battle against COVID-19 to delivering babies to saving lives in emergency rooms, nurses perform countless difficult and sometimes heartbreaking duties each day. They’ve risked their lives to help others. They’ve worked long hours, day and night, helping the sick and their families. For the second year, The Press of Atlantic City’s Nurses: The Heart of Health Care awards program, sponsored by Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City, will seek to recognize those outstanding local nurses helping others. Ten nurses who reflect the highest level of compassion, devotion and expert care will be honored at this awards luncheon as we will share their stories and celebrate their contributions. South Jersey’s healthcare workers deserve to be recognized for what they do every day. Help us do that by supporting your nursing hero and attending this luncheon, which will include an awards ceremony and plated lunch at Hard Rock's Hollywood Ballroom. Lunch will include: - Seasonal Mixed Green Salad with roasted tomato, parmesan croutons and house-made balsamic dressing - Spinach- and Cheese-Stuffed Breast of Chicken with French beans, compressed potato and rosemary chicken jus - Roasted Pear and Almond Tart with Vanilla Ice Cream - House-made rolls, butter - Gourmet teas, iced tea and coffee * Parking fee not included. Self-parking and valet parking available on day of event for extra fee.
