Jay Warren, Director of Communication and Legislative Affairs, City of Arlington. Jay is an award-winning journalist and communicator. He spent 20 years in broadcast news, including 15 years as the primary anchor and senior political reporter at the NBC affiliate in Roanoke, Va. Warren joined the City of Arlington as Marketing and Communications Manager in 2013 and was promoted to his current role in 2017. He also is an adjunct professor at TCU, his alma mater. Warren’s team at the City of Arlington has won more than 100 state and national awards for their work in branding, video production, social media, website design and marketing. Moderator: Lewis Jackson, Multimedia Content Producer, JPS Health Network. Lewis is a four-time Emmy nominated and three-time Texas Associated Press Broadcasters Award-winning producer with almost 20 years’ experience in broadcast communications and public programming. Before joining JPS in 2018, Lewis worked as a sports producer for KXAS/NBC 5 and KTVT/CBS 11 and served as a news and sports producer in San Antonio and Knoxville, Tenn. At JPS, he is responsible for creating video stories that highlight the positive impact of Tarrant County’s public health care system, producing team member spotlights, assisting in social media content and pitching stories to media outlets.
