Diesel Mechanical Shop needs a mechanic. ASAP position. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Mechanical experience on diesel/gas engines. 2. Knowledge of suspension, axles, transmission mechanics. 3. Welding/grinding experience 4. Autobody, working on a frame machine experience highly desired. 5. Responsible approach. 6. Ability and willingness to listen, learn and study new. 7. Positive attitude. 8. Basic Computer knowledge. 9. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. 10. Ability to use/operate all power tools. Training provided. Friendly environment, flexible schedule. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: 1. Ability to read and understand technical service manuals, repair orders, labels, and gauges (in English). 2. Ability to write work orders, purchase orders. 3. Ability to communicate verbally (in English) using the telephone for ordering parts and supplies. 4. Ability to use computers and a variety of mechanical tools.
