Women in Leadership Workshop - April 16th from 10-12
Globally, women hold just 24% of senior leadership positions. Women represent 45% of the S&P 500 workforce, but only 4% of the CEOs. More importantly, of 22,000 publicly traded organizations worldwide, 60% have no female board members. -McKinsey & Co.
I will be teaching an in person Women in Leadership Workshop in Lafayette, California on April 16th from 10-12. This workshop will focus on women leadership development. It is designed for women entering and re-entering the workforce, moving to the next level at work, and aspiring entrepreneurs.
Leading with a Mission: Learn the qualities, attributes, and skills that make resilient leaders, and drive impact on teams, organizations, profits and culture.
Advocating for Yourself: Gain skills to effectively advocate for yourself including understanding the importance of identifying professional strengths, interests, and values. Learn how to take self‐ownership over your vocational life and future, and articulate your unique professional strengths, values, and vision.
About Me: I teach Effective Leadership and Management at UC Berkeley. I have 20 plus years working in technology startups and corporate marketing. I currently run a C corporation called Ocean SF - a sustainable sailing apparel brand. My focus is on impact. My passion is ethical and sustainable practices, and training and educating future leaders.
