As the homelessness crisis persists in New England, we aim to host a small link up to put together kits for our community members in need. As of January 2020, Massachusetts Department of Housing and Urban development reported that nearly 18,000 were experiencing homelessness. Homeless service providers in Rhode Island have reported a 68% increase in those sleeping outside and a 15% increase in families experiencing homelessness. These are just some statistics of many that prove that we have a community of people in need of support! Come through to Booth on Main to put together essential kits for those in need. The music will be fire and some light refreshments will be provided 🤝 This event is also co-sponsored by Red.Lined.Period, a non-profit organization that provides free kits of feminine products to those in need within Rhode Island.
