We are asking that if you are attending the Vet run and will have an open seat that we could provide for a member of the American Legion. We are asking that if you are attending the Veterans Appreciation run and are willing to save an open front seat for a Veteran from the Pittsfield American Legion. This is our yearly Veterans Appreciation run where we try and take out Veterans from the local community. You can bring out any family member or friend who is a Veteran to say thank you for their service. If you will have an extra open front seat and are willing to share a ride please RSVP that you can provide a seat and we will pair you up with a local Veteran. Veterans Trail ride is April 9th we will meet at 8:30 am at the American Legion Post 152 in Pittsfield, Il. All current members (you can join the day of) and their families along with any Veteran (+ 1)will get a catered meal after the ride at the Courtyard Cafe & Bakery. They are located at 128 E. Adams St., Pittsfield, Il. Come out, meet some of those who have bled for you and show your appreciation. Bring sack lunch and drink. Dress for the weather. Sign up sheet for veterans attending is at Post 152 laying on the bar. If a veteran is going to attend the meal with a +1 we will need to know that also. Veterans do NOT have to attend the trail ride to attend the dinner! PS. If you are not a member of TRJC dues are only $65 for the year! This includes discounts for our two big events and multiple free meals such as the veterans ride. We normally have 100-125 people in attendance for the vet ride with around 25 vet. Come join us!
