Description
Brian Friess has announced his run for Flathead County Commissioner.
Bio:
I was born and raised in the Flathead Valley, and I've been a small business owner here for over 14 years. I am also a Montana-certified secondary Science teacher. I've been married to my beautiful bride, Melissa since 2008, and we have 4 wonderful girls together (ages 4-12) who are 7th generation Montanans. (My great-great grandfather was the first Flathead County attorney and the 5th mayor of Kalispell). I spent the strength of my younger years serving and doing humanitarian work in some of the harshest regions of the world – I finished a bachelor's degree in Israel back in 2003. Later, a master's degree in education. I've been a volunteer soccer coach and also a ski instructor. I enjoy hunting, foreign language and culture, amateur botany, a wide variety of music, and spending time with my family. I want to see good government, effective departments, happy employees, and healthy growth and prosperity in the Flathead Valley.
