- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification issued by ASIS International - Hybrid on-site (filed visits, meetings, and inspections no office, will work out of field construction trailer) and off-site support (report writing, e-mails, phone calls, teleconference, etc.) - DUTIES: PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST - Advises the supervisor regarding complicated physical security inspection/survey procedures, security related legal matters, and jurisdictional problems peripheral to or beyond the guidance provided by the higher headquarters.... - Prepares clear and concise evaluation reports substantiating findings and recommendations for corrective action. Responsible for reviewing and proofreading inspection reports prior to approval by the supervisor.... - Conducts physical security site-surveys to determine and identify state-of-the-art electronic Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and components, and technical security equipment, required for the protection of Federal Facilities.
