HANOVER, MA — The family of a missing girl from Hanover is offering a $5,000 reward for information that could lead to her recovery.
Brittney McCormack, a 27-year-old mother of two hasn't been seen since last summer. Her family reported her missing with the police last August. She has a six-year-old daughter and a seven-year-old son.
According to police, she lived in Hanover but often traveled to Brockton, Rockland, Abington, and Hull.
Hanover police say they believe McCormack may be deceased. The Hanover Police Department has been working with the Massachusetts State Police High-Risk Victims Unit and investigators assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office in an attempt to locate McCormack.
Team (SERT), Air Wing, and K9 Unit have also followed up on leads and conducted several large-scale searches across the South Shore, including one in Rockland on Tuesday.
"Brittney would do anything for anyone and she has a heart of gold," said Laury McCormack, Brittney's mother. "I'm praying someone will come forward and help my family recover my daughter. If you know where she is, I'm begging you to say something."
Brittney is described as a white female with blonde hair and blue eyes, approximately 5'3" talland weighing 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a T-shirt, shorts, sandals, and a green Armyjacket.
Police say both of her ears and her nose are pierced. She has a tattoo of a peace sign on her lowerback, the words "dream on" tattooed inside her wrist and a red heart with a tail on the back of her neck.
