QLI International will be hosting a job fair at our Gulfport location! We're excited to see you there! Dates: Tuesday 03/29 through Thursday 03/31 Time: 9am to 4pm Address: 3450 Giles Road Gulfport, MS 39501 Come join us!! Looking for motivated and driven individuals to join our team! Experience in FF&E (Furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and warehouse background preferred but not required. If you have a resume please email it to [email protected] Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures - Perform related duties as assigned by management - Unload/load product from/onto hand trucks and forklifts, and move within the warehouse and/or transportation trucks - Wrap all product ensuring accurate counts, and product is properly tagged and protected prior to storage or transportation - Collect, breakdown and sort all waste to ensure proper recycling - Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times, abiding by all company safety regulations - Able to work extra hours to meet project demands as needed Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: - Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service - Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices - Able to follow verbal and written instructions - High school diploma or GED required Physical Requirements: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. - Work requires the ability to lift and carry heavy items, sometimes with the assistance of another person or equipment. The use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity is necessary. - Must be able to read and understand verbal instructions. - While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push/pull, or balance weight for extended periods of time. - The employee must frequently lift, move, and/or carry up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand. - While performing the duties of this job the employee may operate common warehouse equipment using proper safety procedures to eliminate any potential hazards.
