Must Haves: 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in Seattle, WA Superintendent for 5-over-2 construction for at least 5 years or more. Experience building apartment buildings Familiar with soldier piles temporary shoring. Familiar with Post Tension Concrete. Familiar with panelized wood framing. Know how to manage Design Build MEP (Mechanical, Electrical) Subcontractors. Familiar with Zero Lot line, tight site construction. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and creating project schedules with Microsoft Project. Physical ability to walk up 7 flights of stairs multiple times a day OSHA Certification (OSHA 30 preferred) Day-to-day A Bellevue based general contracting company is seeking a Construction Superintendent for a project in Seattle, WA starting in May. This individual will be responsible for creating the project schedule with the project manager and oversee the construction to ensure the project is completed on time. They will be responsible for managing subcontractors. They will physically oversee the construction site and ensure that all potential issues are taken care of, while constantly adjusting the schedule accordingly. This individual will go into the Bellevue office occasionally to complete/submit paperwork/expenses, and further communicate the progression of the project with the project manager and others involved. Their hours will be from 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, but may vary depending on the demand of the project. We are looking for someone who is physically able to work onsite, someone who is organized, has a sense of urgency, and will ensure that the project is completed on time. We are seeking an individual who is eager to start ASAP and will continue work with the company long term.
