Gulf Harbour Yacht and Country Club is seeking a Spray Technician for the golf course. The desired candidates would be someone who enjoys working outdoors, is a team player, self-motivated and appreciates the value of hard work. This position is ideal for someone with golf course experience looking to try something new or a previous spray technician. Duties include but not limited to: • Mix, prepare, and apply chemical solutions (e.g., insecticides, herbicides, fungicides) in order to control pests, weeds, or plant disease using a sprayer or spreader. • Maintains pesticide and fertilizer inventory. • Apply fertilizer and pesticides to turf and non-turf areas. • Keep records of fertilizer and pesticide applications by recording written information or entering into SPARKS records. Requirements: • Previous golf course experience and/or spraying experience • Florida restricted use pesticide license or to aqcuire within 90 days • Valid driver’s license • Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively • Strong communication skills • Must pass background check This position is full time, Monday through Friday and every other weekend. Some overtime is expected with the ability for more if desired. Salary: $18/hr to start Benefits in addition to salary include 401k, health insurance, PTO, overtime, uniforms, meals, golf privileges, bonus.
